# ELPA Library # ELPA Library
For static calculations, it is recommended to use [ELPA](https://elpa.mpcdf.mpg.de/) Library, which has better performance than ScaLapack. In particular, ELPA allows for the utilization of GPUs which provide a significant boost for calculations.
